IMPLEMENTATION OF 8% SERVICE TAX (SST)

Imposition of 8% Service Tax (SST)

Please be informed that effective 1 October 2025, Seremban City Council (MBS) will impose a Service Tax (SST) of 8% on rentals, leases, and other services in accordance with the provisions of the Service Tax Act 2018 under the supervision of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD). The public is advised to take note that this SST charge will be included in the monthly rental bills and miscellaneous bills issued by MBS after the said date.
