Seremban, 14 September 2026 – The Seremban City Council (MBS) today organized the Closing Ceremony of the Go Green MBS Programme 2026, themed **“Get to Know Green Architecture”**, in collaboration with Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Puteri, Seremban, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, and the Green Building Index (GBI). The programme is one of MBS’s continuous efforts to raise awareness among the younger generation about the importance of environmental conservation, green architecture concepts, and sustainable development practices. Throughout the programme, students participated in various engaging activities, including a visit to the Ajinomoto Green Building in Enstek, creative design activities using recycled materials, and an Informative Collage activity. Through practical learning and hands-on experiences, students gained a better understanding of the importance of adopting a green lifestyle and their role as the future generation in ensuring environmental sustainability. The implementation of this programme is also in line with the aspirations of the MBS Strategic Plan 2026–2030 to mainstream sustainable development, while supporting efforts towards making Seremban a more sustainable, liveable, and competitive city. Also present during the programme were Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, MBS Secretary; Puan Norhezlin binti Amat, Director of MBS Building Control Department and programme secretariat; Heads of Departments; and Heads of Units of MBS. MBS would like to express its highest appreciation and gratitude to SMK Puteri, Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, and the Green Building Index (GBI) for their cooperation and commitment in making this programme a success. Let us work together to cultivate green practices for a more sustainable environment for future generations.
