Selayang & Serdang, 19 May 2026 - The Seremban City Council (MBS) has conducted a benchmark visit to the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to investigate the online database system used in the management of MS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Documentation. The visit focused on the digitization of the documentation was led by Mrs Nor Mursydah binti Chik, Director of Quality and Strategic Management MBS. The presence of the MBS delegation was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Norhayati binti Ahmad, Director of the Audit Department in capturing the MS ISO 9001:2015 MPS Documentation Head and Mrs. Rozi binti Tamin, Deputy Director of UPM Service Quality Assurance. Through the sharing session, MBS was able to explore the management of ISO documents holistically online—covering the update, revision, and validation processes. These components are crucial in shaping systematic record management, effective monitoring, and efficient audit execution. Based on the experience of over a decade of MPS and UPM, the application of this system not only strengthens document control, but also drives digital and sustainable work practices that are in line with the aspirations of modernization of public service. Overall, the session has achieved its objective of providing a clear benchmarking for MBS. The result of this smart partnership is expected to help MBS in framing and implementing the transformation of MS ISO 9001:2015 documentation system towards a more dynamic digital platform. MBS would like to record its highest appreciation and gratitude to MPS and UPM for their willingness to accept and welcome the visit of our delegation.
