Seremban, 14 September 2026 – The Seremban City Council (MBS) held the MBS Councillors Appreciation Ceremony 2026 as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude for the services, commitment, and sacrifices of the 24 MBS Councillors throughout their three-year term of service. The meaningful ceremony was not merely an appreciation event, but also provided an opportunity to reflect on the efforts and contributions of the Councillors in representing the voices of the people and serving as a bridge between the community and MBS administration. Throughout their term of service, the Councillors faced various challenges, including attending meetings, listening to and resolving public complaints, conducting field visits, and engaging with the community regardless of time and circumstances. All these efforts were carried out with one main objective: to provide the best possible services for the well-being and interests of the people within the administrative area of the Seremban City Council. During the ceremony, a special poem entitled “24 Individuals, Service to the People”, written by the MBS Corporate Communications Unit, was also presented as a symbolic gesture of appreciation for the dedication and service of all the Councillors being honoured. MBS would like to express its highest appreciation and deepest gratitude to all 24 Councillors for their time, energy, ideas, sacrifices, and dedicated service throughout their term. Although every term of office eventually comes to an end, their contributions and kindness towards the people will always be remembered. May all their efforts, sacrifices, and services become good deeds and receive blessings and rewards from Allah SWT. Thank you, 24 individuals.
