Putrajaya, 8 June 2026 - Seremban City Council (MBS) has received the Special Protection Security Award from the Office of the Chief Security Officer of the Government of Malaysia (CGSO), the Prime Minister's Department, in recognition of the excellence of protection security management at MBS. The award was presented by YBhg. Datuk Abd Shukor bin Mahmood, Senior Deputy Secretary-General, Prime Minister's Department to Ybhg Dato Ir. Ts. Hj. Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of MBS in a ceremony held at Damar Sari Hall, Federal Government Administrative Centre, Putrajaya a moment ago. This award is given following the Inspectorate of the Protection Security Special Award that was implemented by the CGSO on 8 to 9 September 2025. As a result of the assessment, MBS successfully achieved an overall achievement of 95.00%, putting the security level of MBS protection in the Excellent category. This recognition catalysts MBS to continue to strengthen the culture of security security, improve compliance with prescribed rules and ensure organizational governance is always at the best level in providing quality service to the community. Congratulations and well done to all the MBS employees for the commitment and dedication shown in achieving this success.
