Seremban City Receives the 2025 Most Sustainable City Award

Putrajaya, 28 October 2025 – The Seremban City Council (MBS) has been honored with the 2025 Sustainable City Award as the Most Sustainable City (City Category) in conjunction with World Town Planning Day at Dewan Seri Siantan, Putrajaya Corporation. The event was held as part of the National World Town Planning Day Celebration 2025 (HPBS), the National Planning Congress (NPC), and MyCity Expo 2025. This year’s HPBS theme is “Urban Renewal: A Planning Agenda for the People.” Tuan Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary of MBS, represented YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of MBS, in receiving the award, which was presented by YB Datuk Aiman Athirah binti Sabu, Deputy Minister of Local Government Development. The MBS exhibition booth was also visited by YAB Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister; YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Development (KPKT); and YB Datuk Seri Dr. Zaleha binti Mustafa, Minister of Federal Territories. Congratulations to all fellow award recipients.

Bandaraya Seremban Terima Penghargaan Bandaraya Paling Mampan 2025

Putrajaya, 28 Oktober 2025 - Majlis Bandaraya Seremban telah berjaya menerima Penghargaan Bandar Mampan 2025 sebagai Bandar Paling Mampan 2025 kategori Bandaraya sempena Hari Perancang Bandar Sedunia di Dewan Seri Siantan, Perbadanan Putrajaya sempena Majlis Sambutan Hari Perancangan Bandar Sedunia Peringkat Kebangsaan Tahun 2025(HPBS) & National Planning Congress (NPC) serta MyCity Expo 2025. Tema sambutan HPBS tahun ini adalah”Pembaharuan Semula Bandar: Agenda Perancangan untuk Rakyat” Tuan Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, Setiausaha MBS telah mewakili YBhg. Dato' Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Datuk Bandar MBS bagi menerima anugerah yang telah disampaikan oleh YB Datuk Aiman Athirah binti Sabu, Timbalan Menteri Pembangunan Kerajaan Tempatan. Dalam pada itu reruai MBS turut dihadiri YAB Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Timbalan Perdana Menteri, YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Menteri KPKT, YB Datuk Seri Dr Zaleha binti Mustafa, Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan.
