Seremban, 5 December 2025 – YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of the Seremban City Council, conducted a working visit to Lorong Seni. YB Puan Nicole Tan Lee Koon, Chairperson of the Tourism, Arts and Culture Task Force Committee, also took the time to join the visit to assess the current conditions of Lorong Seni and identify areas for improvement to ensure the area remains a safe, organized, and competitive urban tourism attraction. The visit commenced at 8:00 PM at Lorong Seni Seremban, where various aspects including infrastructure, safety, cleanliness, and public amenities were thoroughly examined. This working visit aligns with the ongoing efforts of the Seremban City Council to strengthen the city’s image as a creative, safe, and inclusive tourism destination. A holistic focus on enhancing Lorong Seni Seremban is expected to increase its appeal as an urban art icon, potentially becoming a major attraction for visitors in conjunction with Visit Negeri Sembilan Year 2026. Integrated cooperation among departments, the community, and stakeholders is considered essential to creating higher-quality public spaces that reflect Seremban’s identity as a sustainable, clean, and prosperous city. Also present during the visit were En. Chong Say Ho, Seremban City Council Member, Heads of Departments and Units of the Seremban City Council, as well as Council Member Assistants.
