Port Dickson, 19 April 2026 - An MBS 2027 Budget Workshop was successfully completed in Port Dickson recently. Budget Workshop was attended by YBhg. Dato Ir. Ts. Hj. Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of Seremban City Council. In the Mayor's speech, he has emphasized on three (3) Main Focus Areas (Key Results Area-KRA) in the 2027 Budget which is,

The first KRA is Wealth Accumulation & Generation with:-

i. Exploring new sources of produce;
ii. Checking and reviewing rates;
iii. Enforcing the rules and laws by prudent;

The second KRA is the Protection & Distribution of Wealth by the way:-

i. Controlling the reserve;
ii. Controlling the budget deficit by providing a balanced budget.

And the third KRA is Wealth Monitoring by managing finances with integrity.
FOCUS 2027 SPECIFIC.

In that, Budget 2027 will also focus on the effectiveness of programs and activities and integrated coordination between departments.
