Chicken Odor Issue: MBS Takes Immediate Action

Seremban, 3 October 2025 – Responding swiftly to complaints about chicken odors in Nusa Intan, YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of the Seremban City Council (MBS), promptly visited the poultry farm located at Batu 6, Jalan Kuala Pilah, 70400 Seremban. Following the inspection, the farm owner pledged to resolve the odor issue affecting residents around Taman Nusa Intan. The Council also issued a Notice of Amendment to the Valuation List to the farm owner for further action. Additionally, MBS suggested that the farm adopt biomass treatment methods to help address the odor problem effectively. Also present during the visit were Tuan Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, MBS Secretary; department and unit heads; as well as representatives from the Negeri Sembilan Department of Veterinary Services, the Department of Environment, and the Royal Malaysia Police.
