Seremban, 7 September 2026 – The Negeri Sembilan State Labour Department (JTK) paid a courtesy visit to the Building Control Department of Seremban City Council (MBS) at Wisma MBS. The delegation, led by Mr. Mahadi bin Kasdi, Director of the Negeri Sembilan State Labour Department, was warmly received by Ms. Norhezlin binti Amat, Director of the MBS Building Control Department, together with officers from the MBS Building Control Department. The visit discussed several issues concerning accommodation for foreign and local workers, particularly TLQ/CLQ, compliance with accommodation requirements, CLQ vacancy issues, and monitoring and enforcement aspects. The discussion also covered the need for cooperation and coordination between the Negeri Sembilan State Labour Department and MBS in addressing worker accommodation issues, as well as related follow-up actions. Overall, the visit served as a platform for exchanging views and strengthening cooperation between the Negeri Sembilan State Labour Department and MBS in managing worker accommodation issues.
