ARCHIPAL CULTURAL FESTIVAL @ IPOH 2025

Ipoh, 26 July 2025 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) has invited the Seremban City Council (MBS) to participate in the Nusantara Culture Festival @ Ipoh 2025 by holding a cultural presentation in conjunction with the program taking place at Ipoh Town Hall. The fiesta entering the 4th edition has been graced by the presence of YB Tuan Loh Sze Yee, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Industry, Investment and Development of the State of Perak Corridor and YBhg. Tuan Zamakhshari bin Hanipah, Mayor of Ipoh. The event began at 9:00 p.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m. has involved nine performing groups from within and abroad, including participation from Medan, Indonesia and Hatyai, Thailand. The organizing of this program is seen as a platform for unity that brings together various regional cultures, at once fostering harmony, social justice and a spirit of mutual respect among the communities. Seremban City Council dancers group consisting of staff from various departments was led by Mr. Shahril bin Sani, Negeri Sembilan Assistant Cultural Officer UiTM Negeri Sembilian also performed traditional dances representing the main ethnic groups in Malaysia namely Malay, Chinese and Indian featuring the following dancers:

* Mr. Muhammad Syafiq bin Sahak
* Madam Noor Sheryl Aida daughter of Mohamad Ropian
* Mrs. Nurul Haida daughter of Kamarudin
* Mr. Mohd Amirulnurhaqim Ammatullah bin Mohd Rasadi
* Mrs. Farah Melina daughter of Ismadi

Overall, the Nusantara Cultural Festival @ Ipoh 2025 has successfully attracted the interest of Ipoh City residents and local visitors in experiencing the uniqueness of the diverse and colourful regional culture. The participation of MBS not only highlights the cultural diversity in Negeri Sembilan, but also strengthens the relationship between the cities through ongoing cultural cooperation. Such programs are appropriate to be continued as a medium of strengthening heritage arts and heritage and strengthening of the nation's identity in the country's cultural tourism landscape.
