Seremban, 3 April 2026 - Seremban City Council has received an academic visit from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture & Measurement, University of Technology Malaysia at Wisma MBS for the purpose of collecting data and obtaining technical information such as shifting of buildings, allowed height of buildings, allowed types of landscape and policy provisions of the Council for Meeting the needs of a studio project. Visit led by Dr. Fadhlina bt. Ahmad @ Taufik together with two other architecture lecturers as well as 30 3rd Year students in the field of Bachelor of Science in Architecture carry out studies and suggestions of building design at sites that have been determined by the lecturers around Bandar Seremban. The MBS also shared the necessary technical requirements as well as information related to the completed projects such as the Seremban Art Lane, Seremban City Lighting, City Uniqueness and Seremban Tasik Park as an added value to the study conducted by UTM. The sharing was delivered by Mr. Nuh Nurul Mushawwir b. Abdul Aziz, Chief Engineer MBS; Mr. Syed Muhammad Fitri b. Hj. Syed Ismail, Chief Assistant Director of MBS Development Planning Department; Mr. Mohd Syafiq b. Musa, Landscape Architect of Garden & Landscape Department; and Mr. Mohd Azpuri bin Abd Aziz, Assistant Architectural Officer, Building Control Department. Also present is Mr. Hadzeeq Ekhwan bin Radzali, Deputy Director of the MBS Building Control Department and staff of the MBS Construction Control Department. For your information, the UTM will be in Seremban to carry out research and feel for himself the experience of the atmosphere and culture in Seremban city starting April 3, 2026 (Friday) until April 5, 2026 (Sunday).
