Seremban, 16 March 2026 – YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of the Seremban City Council (MBS) has conducted a field visit to inspect the installation of LED Kerb at SUKNS Roundabout, Dato’ Hamzah Street and the Aidilfitri Decorative Gate at Forest Heights Persiaran which was also attended by Mr. Shamaruddin bin Saidin, Head of Corporate Relations Unit and Mr Muhammad Fadzly bin Md Yadzir, MBS Engineer. This 149-meter-long LED Kerb is the first of its kind in Malaysia. Lighting operates from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am, not only brightens the city landscape, but also improves the safety and visual clarity aspects of driving at night. In that, as many as 10 Eid Decorative Gates have been installed in 8 different locations around the city. The decoration highlights the concept of Modern Islamic Aesthetic that showcases the geometric beauty of Islamic architecture with minimalist touches, in line with the harmonious and prosperous atmosphere of Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. The beauty of this lighting and decoration is hoped to liven up the atmosphere in the run-up to Aidilfitri, at the same time giving a more meaningful experience to the citizens of the city and the expatriates returning to their hometown, making the journey home during Eid more cheerful, safe and full of memories.
