Seremban, 10 July 2026 – YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of the Seremban City Council (MBS) has received a visit from a delegation from the Prevention of Corruption Commission Malaysia (SPRM) led by YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zaki bin Hassan, Director of the SPRM Tatakelola Investigation Division for an engaging session and presentation of improvement management of the People's Housing Project (PPR) renting management. This session aims to discuss proposals for improvement of PPR rental management practices, systems and procedures, in particular involving the monitoring, enforcement and rent payment collection aspects so that it can be carried out more efficiently, transparent and effectively. In his speech, the Honorable Mayor affirmed the commitment of MBS to continue strengthening governance, integrity and accountability in the management of public housing through various initiatives that are capable of improving the efficiency of the service delivery system as well as ensuring the welfare of those in need is always given attention. MBS thanked SPRM for the cooperation, views and recommendations presented. All proposals presented will be researched and used as a guide in continuous improvement efforts towards strengthening service delivery system that is more integrity, efficient and people's interests oriented.
