Gala Dinner for the “Muslim-Friendly” Familiarization Trip Program with European Muslim Imams and Influencers

Seremban, 23 November 2025 – The “Muslim-Friendly” Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) program, involving ten (10) imams and Muslim influencers from Europe, was successfully organized by the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) in collaboration with the Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC). The Seremban City Council (MBS) is honoured to have been entrusted as the host for the gala dinner held in conjunction with this program. The dinner took place at Hayyan Huda Opah’s Kitchen, a venue that showcases the traditional flavours of Negeri Sembilan. The event was further graced by the presence of YB Datuk Haji Mohd Asna Bin Amin, Deputy Speaker and Speaker of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly; YB Puan Nicole Tan Lee Koon, State Executive Councillor for Tourism, Arts and Culture; and YB Tuan Gunasekaren A/L Palasamy, State Assemblyman for Seremban Jaya. This event provided an opportunity for the Seremban City Council to showcase the unique cultural heritage, diverse cuisine, and harmonious multicultural society that form the identity of Negeri Sembilan. This initiative is aligned with ongoing efforts by the state government and MBS to strengthen the image of Negeri Sembilan as an authentic, heritage-based, and Muslim-friendly tourism destination at the international level. The strategic collaboration with MATTA and ITC is expected to expand promotional opportunities, ultimately attracting more Muslim travellers worldwide to choose Negeri Sembilan as their preferred destination.
