Seremban, 14 July 2026 - The Seremban City Council (MBS) held the Inauguration Ceremony of the 2026 Public Market Cleaning Campaign at the Ampangan Public Market, which was officiated by Mr. Abdul Malek bin Adam, a member of the MBS Council, representing YBhg. Dato' Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, the Mayor of Seremban City Council. This campaign is an initiative under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government's (MHKL) Environmental Health Program to strengthen cleanliness, safety, and market management practices towards achieving excellent cleanliness standards. Also present at the ceremony were MBS Council members, Mr. Muhammad Shahidan bin Rahim, Deputy Director of Environmental Health, MBS, and MBS officers. MBS is committed to continuing strategic collaboration with related agencies, market management, and traders to ensure that the public market environment remains clean, safe, and conducive, providing comfort to the community. May this ongoing effort foster cleanliness practices to realize the aspiration of "Clean Public Markets, Healthy Community, and a Prosperous City."
