Seremban, 30 June 2026 – YBhg. Dato' Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of the Seremban City Council, , has led an integrated operation of inspection of the premises of the massage houses and boarding houses for compliance with the licensing requirements and small laws enforced by the Seremban Bandaraya Council (MBS). The operation that started at 2.30 pm was also joined by , Mr. Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary of the Seremban City Council, Mr. Hanizam bin Ahmad Director of the MBS Law and Enforcement Department, representatives of the Licensing and Entrepreneurial Development Department (JPPU), MBS Corporate Relations Unit and officials from the Department Malaysian Immigration State of Nine. In the operation, two premises were examined. Inspection at Melon Spa, Rahang Jaya Business Center found that the premises had a valid business license, however one compound was removed due to violation of the license requirements which was failing to provide a massage therapist qualification certificate. Meanwhile, inspection at Happy Restaurant, Jalan Tuanku Hassan found that the premise license had expired, but the owner had submitted an application for license renewal. The premises in question are also suspected of carrying out immoral activities, and as a result of the joint action of the Malaysian Immigration Department, a foreign citizen has been detained for further action. Throughout the operation, as many as one (1) compound notice was issued for an offense under the Tred Licensing Act. No expired notice or seizure action has been carried out. The whole operation went smoothly and the condition is good and under control. The Mayor affirmed that MBS will continue to intensify integrated operations with relevant agencies to ensure that all business premises comply with the licensing requirements, small laws as well as rules that are in force to guarantee the safety, well-being and order of the citizens of Seremban.
