Seremban, 19 May 2026- Seremban City Council (MBS) continues to be committed in empowering the small entrepreneur community through the implementation of the Entrepreneur Development Program for stall traders, pawnshop centers, MyKiosk and Temporary Pawnshop Site (TPS) around the MBS administrative area. The program themed Course of Basic Effective Financial Management for Businessmen and Small Travelers was held on 19 May 2026 (Tuesday) located in the Room Dato' Dagang Paroi starting at 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. As many as 38 participants comprising small traders and growers have participated in the course involving 15 stall locations and growers centers under MBS supervision. Among the affected areas are the Taman Desa Melur Hoarder Center, Taman Tunku Jaafar Hoarder Centre, TPS STAR, Taman Sri Pulai Hoarder, TPS Bandar Prima Senawang Jakel, Ampangan Fort, Coral Heights Container Stall, Taman Paroi Jaya Hoarder, MyKiosk Taman Sri Pandan, Centrio Dataran MyKiosk, MyKiok Taman Widuri Indah, Taman Am Taman Ampangan Stall, Bukit Sri Senawang Hikers Center and the Beautiful Leader's Stall. This course is run by guest speaker, Mr. Mohd Shariman Che Deris from Kolej Yayasan Negeri Sembilan who shares a variety of knowledge as well as guidance related to managing business finances systematically, orderly and effectively. Some of the course's main coverings include cash flow recording methods, business capital management, expense control, savings strategies and financial planning techniques to ensure small businesses can grow sustainably and competitively. The hosting of this program is seen as an important initiative in helping entrepreneurs improve their level of financial management knowledge and skills, in addition to producing a community of entrepreneurs that are more resilient, professional and prepared for current economic challenges. MBS hopes that programs like this can provide continuous benefits to the participants as well as become a platform for the capacity development of small entrepreneurs towards strengthening the economy of the local community.
