Seremban, February 6, 2026 – The Seremban City Council has conducted a Voting Session for the Ramadan Bazaar Site in the Seremban City Hall. This voting session is a transparent and fair method to ensure that every trader is given an equal opportunity in trading site selection. In order to ensure the process of distribution of business sites organized by the Seremban City Council is carried out fairly, transparent and with integrity, the council will conduct site voting through a draw method using ping pong balls. Honorable Dato' Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of Seremban City Council, Tn. Ir.Ts.Br . Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof Secretary MBS, Mr. Mohd Lotffee bin Abdullah Director Licensing & Entrepreneurial Development MBS and Mr. Hanizam bin Ahmad Director Law & Enforcement MBS have made a lottery draw on the same day. Each table tennis ball provided has been labeled with *reference number of Applicant's Name* that has been determined by the Seremban City Council. All these balls are boxed and will be shaken first to ensure there are no selection elements or advantage to either side. Every table tennis ball that has been disconnected will not be put back into a ballot box to avoid site overlap. Concerning that, the results of this vote are final. The Council is also providing special sites to the merchants who have paid deposits to the organizers of the Ramadan Bazaar / Eid al-Fitr Year 2026, setting of site numbers still uses the same voting method. Traders need to  sign  Ramadan Bazaar Integrity Promise Form 1447H/2026M. Site payment rates are as follows:

i. For a tent sized 20'x20' payment rate applied as much as RM 3,500.00 and a deposit of RM 2,000.00
ii. For a tent sized 10'x10' payment rate applied as much as RM 1,500.00 and a deposit of RM 1,500.00
iii. For tent sized 10'x10' (base only) payment rate applied as much as RM 800.00 and deposit as much as RM 500.00

Site payment can only be paid by one off payment. Seremban City Council always tries to ensure bazaar management is done systematically, with integrity and in observing justice for the sake of welfare all sides. Also present during the session were the Council Members of MBS, PDRM and SPRM.
