Seremban, 10 May 2026 – Seremban City Council has organized the Youth Handball (Under 16 Years) Championship of the Seremban City council Mayor's Cup 2026 which will take place on 9 to 10 May 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) starting at 8.30 am to 6.00 pm located at the State Sports Complex, Paroi. The prize-giving ceremony was completed by YBhg. Ir. Ts. Dato' Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of Seremban City Council accompanied by Tuan Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary of Seremban Town Council. Also present are the Members of the Council, Mr. Saiful Azuar bin Ahmad Became the Director of Community Development & Tourism of MBS, Department Head & Unit Head of Seremban City Council. This time's tournament got a very encouraging welcome when as many as 18 teams from inside and outside Negeri Sembilan have joined the competition to claim the title of tournament champions. For the prize category, Johan's team has brought home the Round Cup, medal as well as cash in the amount of RM2,000.00 won by Jerantut Handball. While the Runner-Up team has received medals along with cash of RM1,500.00 won by Pasir Gudang HC. Meanwhile, the Third Place winner has received a medal and cash amounting to RM1,000.00 won by Lake Garden HC. Next, the Fourth Place has brought home the medal and cash as much as RM500.00 won by Mansorian A HC. Organizing this tournament is one of the efforts of the Seremban City Council in producing a generation of teenagers who are active, competitive as well as applying the values of sportsmanship, discipline and dedication among school students. Seremban City Council would like to express its highest appreciation and gratitude to all schools, officials, coaches and parties directly or indirectly involved in making the Youth Throw Ball Championship (Under 16 Years Old) Seremban Mayor Cup 2026 a success.
